Google Drive integration

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

This policy describes the intended operation of Graymills CRM Backup, an internal backup and recovery utility for Graymills Corporation. The utility is currently being configured; statements about planned functionality should not be interpreted as a claim that backups are already running.

Information processed

The utility is designed to process Graymills CRM business data, database structures required for restoration, application metadata, and relevant uploaded files. Backup archives may contain business contact information and other confidential company information.

Google account and Drive permissions

With the Google account holder’s authorization, the application will request the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope to create, retrieve, list, and manage files it creates or files that the user explicitly opens with it. It will not intentionally read unrelated personal Drive documents, emails, or photos.

How data is used

Google Drive access will be used solely to store encrypted CRM backup archives, verify their integrity, retrieve them for permitted recovery testing, and manage retention. The utility is not designed for advertising, profiling, or sale of personal data. Google user data obtained through this access will not be sold or transferred to data brokers.

Encryption and access

Backup contents are intended to be encrypted before transmission to Google Drive. Encryption keys and account credentials will be held separately from the stored archives. Access to backup administration and restoration will be restricted to authorized personnel. No internet-connected service can be guaranteed completely secure.

Retention and deletion

The planned policy retains routine daily backup archives for 30 days. Manually created recovery points may be retained longer when specifically designated. Expired archives will be deleted according to the configured retention rules, subject to operational or legal obligations. The account owner may also revoke the application’s Google access through Google Account security settings; revocation stops future access but does not automatically erase backup files already saved to Drive.

Sharing and service providers

The backup process is planned to use Google Drive for storage and GitHub Actions for controlled execution. Access to backup contents is limited to authorized Graymills personnel and the services necessary to carry out backup and recovery; archives will not be intentionally made public.

Account control and questions

The Google account holder can review or revoke the application's access using Google Account connections. For inquiries about this internal utility, contact Graymills Corporation through its official website.

Policy changes

This notice may be updated when implementation details or operational practices change. Material changes to how Google Drive data is accessed or used should be reflected here before the modified behavior is enabled.
